Welcome to Marlow Sailing Club

Marlow Sailing Club is located on the Berkshire bank of the River Thames, approximately 2 miles upstream of Marlow in Bucks, between Temple Lock and the National Sports Centre at Bisham Abbey. Access by road is from Temple Lane.

The Club enjoys superb facilities with separate changing rooms with showers, a kitchen area and meeting room. Disabled access is provided for all the Clubhouse facilities. Other site buildings are used for the the storage of equipment. Boat spaces for up to 65 craft are available and parking for members' and visitors' vehicles is more than adequate.

The Club is run by an elected committee on behalf of the members. Membership is run on a family basis and currently stands at about 65 families.

Sailing is casual and relaxed, with no class distinction. Members' boats must be sailing craft, limited to 16ft (4.8m) max. The emphasis is on safe family sailing and the Club is very keen to encourage young helms to participate.

The Club enjoys approximately 100 feet of river frontage, with full jetty facilities. Access to the water is by a shallow gradient slipway. A winch is available for easier retrieval of boats from the water, if required. A Safety boat is staffed by trained members during Club events. The Club has two "Optibat" style dinghies available for younger members to sail, two "Topper" dinghies and a "Gull". A rowing boat completes the Club fleet.
